Step 2. Tell us what alterations you’d like – whether it’s a simple hem or taking in the sides, or a more extensive recut to transform the look of your garment.
Step 3. Sit back while we handle the alterations. For simpler adjustments, we may complete them within 2–3 hours, perfect for a leisurely lunch break. More complex recuts might take a few days, and we’ll provide you with an estimated time frame when you drop off your outfit.
Step 4. Pick up your outfit at the shop once it’s ready. If you’re not fully satisfied, we’ll gladly make additional adjustments to ensure the perfect fit.

In 1999, Hong opened the first Hong’s Custom Tailor in Gwinnett County to offer high-quality, personalized tailoring to the community. Driven by a passion for custom design and a desire to keep the art of tailoring alive, Hong brought her vision to life. She learned the craft from her father in Vietnam as a child, developing a love for solving unique clothing challenges and creating one-of-a-kind designs.

Does ATL Tailor do alterations? How long do rush alterations take?

Basic alterations like hemming or otherwise altering the dimensions of an existing garment often take as little as two hours. More detailed alterations like complete repurposing of existing outfits will naturally take longer but will usually be ready in 3-6 days. We’ll tell you how long your rush alterations will take when you drop off your item.
Do you send fabric offsite to be tailored?
No. We do everything onsite, which allows us to oversee quality more effectively and minimize turnaround time.
